Private Rental Vs Siblu Rental

When I first bought at La Reserve I rented my beloved mobile through Siblu as it came off my buying fees and the second year it looked the easier option to renting privately – until I saw how much I actually got at the end of the year towards my ground rent and that my mobile was not getting looked after as I would like, stains on the carpets and marks on the walls and ceilings!.

Then I thought I would go private, ok so who do I rent through, I had a good look around and found a few places and joined 2 sites, one I have 0 enquires and the second I made £500 over my ground rent last year renting through them, they only cost £45 a year to rent through and the amount of enquires you get you should make your ground rent easy,

Renting privately has its advantages –

1. You don’t have to Join a Guaranteed letting scheme to hope to make your ground rent.

2. you choose when you want to let it July and 1st two weeks of August you can get up to £600 per week

3. you know who you are renting to so they take better care of your mobile

4. you do not have to stick to Siblus itinerary you can put what you want into your home i.e. kettle and toaster

Siblu has its disadvantages –

1. Their renters think that where they are staying belongs to Siblu – they have paid their damage wavier and do not care what gets damaged!

2. If something goes missing they don’t care!

3. You probably will not make your ground rent unless on a guaranteed letting scheme but have to give up 7 weeks of prime summer holiday to get it!

4. I saw an advert in the Sun Newspaper for cheep holidays to La Reserve for Easter and June up to half way through July – they WILL NOT care what damage they will do to your mobile home.

OK so you have to fill out a form and send a copy to your renter and the original to haven and send your renter the park rules and swim/play safe rules – how hard is that, oh and a cleaner – don’t pay Siblu to do it at €50 you would be mad! Need a cleaner see Park info.
